Have you been downstairs to the Sunday School wing lately?
If not you should check it out.
The hallway floors, Al Grothe’s office, and all the Sunday School
rooms have had their floors refinished.
No, they did not just wax them.
The old tiles were stripped out, and the existing cement floor
was painted with a light brown epoxy paint with multi-colored flecks.
It looks very nice and with the new colors painted on the walls
the past 2 years, the rooms really look good.
This is an example of a church board going above and beyond.
Not only did the Property Board
acknowledge the need of new flooring, but they provided the labor
for the removal of the old tiles and the painting of the floor.
It didn’t cost the church one penny as all the materials were
donated by the workers. Be
sure to go and take a look, and then say thank you to the workers:
Jon Farris, Darrel Forsgren, Mike Forsgren, Mark Grefsrud, John
Jenson, and Brian Olson.
Thank You!!
