Trinity Lutheran Church enjoys the dedicated services of clergy, staff members and volunteers who help fulfill our mission. They include:

Pastor Laurie Skow-Anderson

Pastor Laurie Skow-Anderson graduated from Jackson High School in 1976, Moorhead State University in 1980 with a double major in Elementary and Special Education. She taught special education and was assistant volleyball coach in Willmar and Olivia MN for two years before going to seminary. She graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 1986 and Doctor of Ministry in 2010 from Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Laurie’s husband Randy is campus pastor at MSUM. They have three children, Andrew and Matthew are students at Concordia College and Anna is a high school junior in Pelican Rapids.

Lay Pastor Al Grothe

 Al Grothe has served as Lay Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church for five and one half years. He retired from public education after 40 years of teaching. He was raised in Fort Ransom ND and graduated from high school there. He graduated from Valley City State University with a degree in Education and English. He graduated from Minnesota State University with a Masters Degree in Education. He completed a course of education in Lay Ministry and continues to take classes in Lay Ministry. His wife, Sandy, is also a retired teacher and they have four grown children and five grandchildren.

Bonnie Moeller-Director of Youth, Family and Education 

Lori Booth-Office Manager

Lori has worked at Trinity Lutheran Church as the office manager for the last 7 years. Lori graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1986 and graduated from North Dakota State College of Sience with an associates of science degree in Computer Information Systems, and Computer Specialist with an emphasis on Web Design. Lori and her husband Jeff have 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls. Jeff works in Fargo as the Senior Credit Underwriter for Alerus Financial.

Ellen Sillerud-Part time Office SecretaryEllen has worked at Trinity Lutheran for the past 1 and a half year as a part time Secretary.Ellen graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1987 and graduated from Detroit Lakes Technical College in 1989 with an AAS degree in administrative Secretary. Ellen and her husband Paul have 3 Children. Paul is the Owner of Rapid Marine Center in Pelican Rapids.  

Amber & Brian Olson-Facilities Managers

Brian and Amber have been the Facilities Managers at Trinity Lutheran Church for the last two years. Brian also works for the City of Pelican Rapids as the Head of the Street Department, Amber also works at the Elementary School as a Para. Brian and Amber have 3 children and live in Pelican Rapids.
