Women of Trinity…

Summer is upon us – a time to enjoy the warm sunshine, the refreshing rains, the taste of fresh produce, the beauty of colorful flowers, God’s goodness… 

Everyone sure enjoyed the “Pass It On” style show at our May meeting.  Thank you to Shirley Ralston and all the models.  On July 8, our tentative program is Bev Hahn with the topic, “My Daughter Married a Moslem”.  It is sure to be an interesting presentation.  The meeting will be at 2:00 p.m. with the Unit Board meeting at 1:30 p.m.  Those whose last names begin with A-M bring treats. 

Remember to sign up to bring salad or pie and/or help with the “Art in the Park” Salad Luncheon to be held on Saturday, July 24.  The sign-up sheets will be in the church entry by the last week of June.  Many hands make light work!!! 

The circle Bible study for the summer months is entitled “Pray Always”.  The June lesson talks about persistence in prayer, based on the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge.  The July lesson deals with patience in prayer.  “Lord, give me patience and I need it right now!”  Waiting on God can be difficult but we know we have a God who hears us and answers us, but in His time, not ours. 

Be sure to enjoy this summer because this fall we will be busy preparing for the Fall Cluster Gathering to be held at our church on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
