Women of Trinity…

Wow! Summer went fast...As I’m writing this I am waiting for the sweet corn to ripen.  The pumpkins will need a long frost free fall to ripen… but the pig weeds are doing well…

 It is always exciting to begin a new season and fall is one of my favorites.  Our next meeting is Thursday, September 3 at 2:00 p.m.  Johanna Christianson and Dorothy Ross will be with us the share information about the Food Shelf.  Those whose last names begin with A-M bring treats.

 This month we begin a new Bible study entitled, “To God’s Beloved:  Paul’s Letter To The Romans.  September’s study introduces Paul and the letters he wrote.  The theme verse is Romans 1:16.  For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”  May we be as bold as Paul in sharing our faith.  Perhaps you could invite a friend to join you at your circle Bible study.  It is a good time now when we are beginning a new study.

 Thank you to everyone who brought salads, pies, worked and/or donated money for the salad luncheon.  We raised just over $1800.  We could not do it without you!
